Ella Goes Up the Stairs

Ella is getting very good at climbing up the stairs and gets all the way up, and all you have to do is be patient and spot her.  As she gets to the top, she suddenly loses all interest in climbing up the stairs, and stands straight up, moving her feet in a sort of excited dance, then turns around and starts trying to walk down the stairs.  If you don't do something, she'll surely fall down the stairs in a step or two.  You:

Pick her up and take her to the top of the stairs, closing the gate behind you.

Help her down the stairs by holding out your hands for her.
