Decorating

Over Memorial day we decided that it was time to do some decorating around our house! We have been trying to decide what to hang where, but we focused on 3 rooms for decorating (living room, piano room, and bedroom) and 2 rooms for cleaning (storage rooms upstairs). Here are some pictures of the results!

Our other rooms are just clean and organized so I didn't take any pictures. It was fun to decorate and clean up our house and put things away. It definitely looks more like we are moved into our house now.

This week Daniel and I both had book club. My book club read Divergent and Daniel's book club decided to go watch the new Star Trek movie.

About Us

Daniel loves to try new things and considers himself a nerd (though he's discovered that a lot of nerds would beg to differ). He studied computer programming and learned piano in high school, then decided to switch over to Electrical Engineering for a degree. Since then, he's found a happy place working for National Instruments as a digital hardware designer and still loves to play his piano.

Elissa is an Idaho farm girl, and yes, she did help grow potatoes. She graduated as an English major, and has put it to use as the 'Family Operations Specialist'. As such, she oversees family finances, billing, groceries, product research, and now caring for Ella (with some help of course). She's also helped form and actively participates in a local book club.

They met in college, fell in love, and got married then decided to move to Austin when they graduated. Since then, they've had a baby, Eleanor, join the family and are excited to find the joys (and frustrations) involved with raising a family.
